Description

Iron-base friction material takes iron as main component, adds some non-metallic elements and is finished via power metallurgy method. It is mainly used in dry brake. The material is high in static and dynamic frictional coefficiencies, large in torque transmit, high temperature resistance, and suitable for severe working condition. Brake and clutch using the material is simple in structure, which can form friction pair with plain steel or sintered materials.

  2. Static friction coefficiency: ≥0.45 (plain steel dual disc) ≥0.50 (sintered dual disc)

  4. Permissible specific pressure: 1~5 MPa
